A Data Systems Specialist with 14 years of experience designing and managing integrated data platforms for international research organisations including ILRI and the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, where he built Africa’s largest bean crop database and Uganda’s African Dairy Genetic Gains platform.
He holds a Master of Information Technology and a Master’s in Health Informatics, two postgraduate degrees being, it turns out, entirely necessary for someone managing data at this scale.
His expertise spans database architecture, software development in Python, PHP and JavaScript, data visualisation, cybersecurity, and M&E governance.
