How to work with us
Kebulan Cycle does not work alone. We are part of a deliberate ecosystem of funders, technical partners, peer enterprises, government bodies, and community networks, and we are actively seeking to expand it. Our partnerships strategy prioritises long-term relationships over transactional contracts; African-led and African-rooted partners alongside international expertise; and partners who share our commitment to dignity, circularity, and community ownership.
We welcome partners who bring capital, technology, market access, expertise, or ecosystem connections to our circular economy mission. We design every partnership around mutual value, not service delivery in one direction. Below are the partnership modalities currently open.
Programme Funding
Blended finance, impact investments, concessional loans, and grant co-funding of training cohorts, the revolving grant fund, demonstration hub equipment, or specific thematic programmes. We are particularly interested in partners willing to structure funding around commercial outcomes rather than activity compliance.
Technical Partnership
Sharing expertise in biogas engineering, solar PV systems, Black Soldier Fly farming, Interlocking Stabilised Soil Block (ISSB) construction, smart irrigation, or carbon verification methodologies. We are rigorous about knowledge transfer, partnerships that build lasting local capacity are preferred over those that create dependency on continued external technical support.
Market Linkage
Connecting our enterprise groups to institutional buyers of BSF animal feed, ISSB building blocks, biogas cylinders, solar systems, earthen floor installations, or bamboo products. Volume offtake agreements are particularly valuable for enterprise groups in their early stages, when market access is the critical constraint.
Research Collaborations
Joint applied research with universities, think-tanks, and research institutions on circular economy livelihoods, waste-to-energy systems, and green building materials in East Africa. We have accumulated operational data and community access that most researchers struggle to replicate; we are open to co-authorship and joint publication arrangements.
Carbon Offtake
Long-term purchase agreements for Gold Standard or Verra VCS carbon credits generated through our clean cooking, biogas, and agroforestry programmes. We are building towards verified carbon certification across multiple programme areas; early offtake partnerships help secure the capital required to do so at scale.
Programme Replication
Partner organisations across East Africa wishing to adopt Kebulan Cycle's model, curricula, digital platforms, or products in their own contexts. We are actively interested in replication partnerships that extend our impact without requiring us to directly manage every hub, provided quality standards are maintained and communities remain at the centre.
Mentorship & Advisory
Senior practitioners, technical consultants, and experienced social enterprise leaders willing to coach our founding team, facilitators and our enterprise groups. We are, like all young organisations, simultaneously capable and in need of experienced counsel. Both are true at once, and we see no contradiction in saying so.
Careers & volunteering
Our team is built on collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to creating positive change. We welcome professionals, emerging talents, and passionate individuals who are dedicated to excellence and thrive in dynamic, mission-driven environments.
